Who are we?
Spotlight is a UK company based in the UK who is part of Talent Systems and a trading name of Talent Systems Europe Limited. We are the Data Controller of your data – this means we determine the purposes for its processing i.e. decide what should be done with it.

How do I get in touch with you if I have a question about my privacy and your use of my data?
We have a Data Protection Officer in place to answer your questions, receive your complaints or review your rights requests.

What is personal data?
Personal data is any information that someone can be identified from, and any information related to them. This includes information such as your name or your email address.
What personal data do we hold?
We will hold different personal data about you depending on how you interact with us. The different ways in which we may collect personal data include when you:
- Visit and use our online services
- Become a registered member
- Book a room or studio
- Book to attend an event
- Complete a survey
- Contact us
How do we use your personal data lawfully?
We only collect, use (and any other of the defined uses of “processing” data) where there is what is called a “lawful basis”, and only for the reasons that it was collected.
The different types of lawful basis include to perform a contract, comply with law, if there are legitimate interests and with your consent.

We share your personal data with carefully selected and trusted third parties when required, and to keep your data safe and maintain your privacy we have a robust approach in place. We may also share your information with other parties, such as if we are required to do so by law, and within the Talent Systems group where the law allows us to.

We are very serious about keeping your data safe and have appropriate measures in place to ensure your data is protected and secured. Some of the controls we have include:
- Risk assessing what we do with data
- Limiting access to our systems and buildings
- Technical controls such as user identity verification and firewalls
- Appropriate levels of data encryption
- Effective monitoring of our systems
Where is your data stored?
Your data may be transferred to, and stored at, a location inside and outside of Europe. No matter where your data is stored, we always make sure that your data has the same level of protection as if it was being stored in Europe (to European and UK Data Protection standards or equivalent).

Access your information
You can request access to or a copy of your personal information and check what information we hold about you.
Change or correct your information
If you wish to have any errors corrected, you can request this – although this is not an absolute right and we may request for further information.
Take your information
You can ask for a copy of your personal information to be provided in a reusable and machine-readable form.
Object to, limit or restrict the use of your information
You can ask that we stop using parts or all of your personal information or limit its use if you believe that this personal information is unlawfully held.
Delete your information
You can ask that your personal information is deleted if you believe it is no longer necessary for the purposes it was collected.
Object
You can object to our processing of your personal data based on legitimate interests (we have to do this unless we believe we still have an overriding legitimate reason) and for direct marketing (there are also other ways you can control your marketing preferences).
Control what marketing information you receive
Our communications are specially crafted just for you and are packed with news and content from across the industry. We believe this information will be both informative and useful (why else would we write them!) and we would be delighted if you would like to receive them.
You can unsubscribe from these communications at any time by managing your subscriptions within your account.
Please note that this does not affect the customer service communications which we will need to send to you relating to your membership.
